Every year, the Visual Studies Department at the University of Pennsylvania holds a lecture series. As the department assistant, I was tasked with promoting these lectures; in this case, an artist lecture by Ryan Mrozowski, an artist specializing in paintings that tempt and confuse the eye. With his permission, I borrowed a particularly engaging painting of his and using Adobe InDesign, overlaid the text descriptions that were sent to me by my superiors. I created the illustrative elements (arrows, lines) in Adobe Illustrator. This poster was printed and distributed around campus and in nearby artist galleries, shared on social media (Flickr, Facebook), and featured in various university communications. The talk was very well attended.
