Penn Student Film Festival

This poster advertises the Penn Student Film Festival, an annual contest in which students submit short films for judging by a jury and their peers. The festival always attracts a fair amount of submissions, but I wanted to create an eye-popping graphic that demanded attention. I borrowed the image of one of the queens of cinema, laid it over a bright pink backdrop, and furnished it with information through a backbone of the Futura family of fonts. The poster was printed on 11x17 glossy paper and distributed across campus.
